Carl M. Kimbler, D.M.D., M.D.

Meet Dr. Kimbler

Education: Carl Kimbler D.M.D., M.D. was born and raised in Key West, Florida. Graduated Key West High School in 1981.  Attended University of Florida (Gators) majoring in chemistry.  He received his D.M.D. degree with high honors at University of Florida Dental School in 1988. After graduation he served 3 years in the United States Air Force.  He was then accepted into the six year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at University of Nebraska.  During that time he earned his medical degree with honors and completed 2 years general surgery internship.

Affiliations:  Dr. Kimbler is board certified and diplomate in the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.  He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the South Dakota Dental Association, and Northeastern District Dental Association.  He has surgery privileges at Avera St. Lukes Hospital.

Family and Activities:  Dr. Kimbler and his wife, Kelly, are proud parents of their four daughters, Kirsten, Kelsey, McCamey, and Tessa.  He enjoys competitions on his horse in 100 mile endurance races, hunting, and photography.
